The aim of the one day course is to provide leading delegates and activists with an understanding of the collective agreement bargaining process and what will be required of them prior to, during and after bargaining.
The seminar will focus on:
- Understanding types of collective agreements,
- Assessing and mapping branches and sites, recognising the need to include members and encourage participation,
- Understand the union’s organising approach and organising cycle
- Awareness of legislative and union requirements in agreements, and
- Preparing, participating and finalising Collective Agreement bargaining processes.
